Description

Dreaming Away is a portable pet bed that rolls up for easy transport and storage. It’s perfect for a day at the park or the beach or for an overnight or weekend away. The strap length is customizable, so you can decide to keep it long to use as a shoulder strap or shorten it up to use as a hand carry handle.

We designed the bed in three different sizes to fit various pet sizes – small, medium and large. Depending on the bed size you want to make, you’ll need 1 1⁄4 yards to 2 yards of fabric. You will also need a little bit of Velcro, a small package of fiberfill and a crib size package of batting.

We have sewn these up in both cotton and canvas. Canvas is very durable but might not be the best choice for a cat or other animal with very sharp nails that can poke holes in the fabric. The bed is a great candidate for stash busting those older fabrics you haven’t found a use for yet, or you could crazy piece the panels from your stash. And since they’re sure to get a bit dirty from your furry friends, be sure to double check your fabric manufacturer’s recommendation before you wash the bed.

These beds sew up super fast, so they make great gifts for the pet lovers in your life. The PDF pattern has 5 pages and over 25 color photos to help you every step of the way.
