Thomas Crown Bowler Bag PDF Sewing Pattern


A fun, mod version of the 1960s bowler bag with simple clean lines that look great in prints or solids. Outer bag features hidden middle pocket, and lining features inner zipper pocket, divided pockets and center zipper pocket.


This is our fun, mod version of the 1960s bowler bag with beautifully curved lines that look great in prints or solids. The outer bag features a hidden pocket, perfect for your keys or phone. Thomas Crown also has fun gusseted sides that add a pop of color, and rounded handles that you can add optional cording to for even more weight, if you’d like. The lining is divided into two halves with a super cool and functional center zipper pocket. There is also another zipper pocket on one side of the lining and a customizable divided pocket on the other side. The finished size is about 10” x 16” x 5”.

1/2 Yard Front Panels and Bottom (Fabric A)
5/8 Yard Middle Panels and Pocket, Side Panels Handles and Bias (Fabric B)
1 Yard Lining (Fabric C)
