You know what they say about plans…
So we *planned* on yesterday’s post being our last post of the year. And then this happened… again!
We uploaded our latest free pattern – Winezies (aka Wine Koozies) – to Craftsy almost a month ago and got some downloads here and there, but today the stars aligned and we’re the number one free pattern on Craftsy again today! We’ve gotten a few hundred downloads in the last several hours, and we’re so excited to be able to share our patterns for free so anyone can try us out and see what we’re all about.
So head on over to our Craftsy shop to download either of our free patterns – Winezies or Wine Totes (which is just about to reach 3,000 downloads!!! what the what?!?) – or to buy any of our other patterns.
So we’ll wish you all a Happy New Year once again, and unless sewing pigs fly, we’ll see you in 2015.
We posted yesterday that we had just joined the Craftsy community. In less than 24 hours, our free wine totes pattern became the Number 1 selling free pattern with just under 200 downloads!! We were also the featured pattern designer for the day!! We are so grateful and excited. It’s a happy Friday on Whitewood Road today!
To be honest, we have absolutely no idea what that expression even means, but here in Richmond, the temperature and humidity keeps rising. So you think we would be holed up inside sewing away, but instead we keep finding ourselves outside, drenched in sweat and weeding, watering, and tending to all of the things that are dying. We do manage to find some time to reward ourselves with some wine though… never fear!
We know that you’re all eagerly awaiting our Fall 2014 collection which is totally vintage-inspired, so we’re finally here to share a sneak peek of all of our hard work:
Look at all those beautifully sewn bags… ha! Yeah, we told you we were behind. All of those pictures actually are a sneak peek, but you’ll have to wait a bit longer to understand their meaning.
The good news is that we do have two of the bags completed and the other two in various testing stages. So while it doesn’t look like we’ll be finished in August, we should be ready to release the collection in September. You know, after all those pesky summer dogs go back to wherever they came from.
In other news, we are now part of the Craftsy community! We had read about other bloggers taking the awesome classes they offer, but we didn’t realize there is also a huge community where you can share your completed projects and also sell your patterns. Our FREE FREE FREE Wine Totes pattern is available on Craftsy too, so come check us out!
